About Us
We provide full-time childcare for infants aged 6 weeks to 24 months, engaging preschool programs for children aged 2 to 4 years, and comprehensive kindergarten classes. Our programs are available Monday through Friday, thoughtfully tailored to support each stage of your child's development.
Oak and Lily Academy proudly serves our community in the Harborview area of Suffolk, Virginia. Our mission is to nurture children and support families through our weekday childcare, preschool, and kindergarten programs. We provide an environment and curriculum designed to foster spiritual, emotional, and educational growth, integrating scripture into our lessons to reflect our commitment to glorifying God in all that we do.
Virginia Quality Birth to Five (VQB5)
Oak and Lily participates in Virginia Quality Birth to Five (VQB5). VQB5 prepares all children for kindergarten, and in response to state law, Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) has developed the Unified Virginia Quality Birth to Five System (VQB5) to measure and improve the quality of all publicly funded birth-to-five classrooms and support families to choose quality programming across all types of programs. The VDOE is a state agency that oversees birth to-five early childhood programs including child care centers like Oak and Lily Academy.
